IBE’s services include, but are not limited to, providing a platform where clients identify and engage subject matter experts to provide them with insights, guidance, advice or ideas during consultation meetings, which meetings are recorded by the subject matter expert and are retained by IBE.
In order to provide these services, IBE will collect personal information directly from clients and experts through online registration forms, applications and by virtue of the recorded meetings.
When you sign up to become an IBE client or expert, we may collect the following personal information from you:
basic personal details, such as your name, physical and email address, telephone number, location information, date of birth, age, race and gender;
financial information such as payment card and bank account details and details of your credit history;
information about clients’ organisations and information about experts’ professional expertise and experience;
your personal opinions, views or preferences;
views or opinions of another individual about you; and
your marketing preferences and consent.
The contact information that we collect will be used to contact you when necessary about a consultation meeting, to send you invoices or when we require further information from you. This information will also be used to send you regular news about updates to our service provided that you expressly consent to this.
Financial information that is collected will be used to bill clients for IBE’s products and services, process payments to experts or issue refunds or credit notes to either clients or experts.
Information about clients’ organisations and profile data is also collected on our website and may be used to tailor the website user’s experience on our website. We will customise and display the content according to your preferences.
Information about experts’ experience will be used to identify the most suitable experts to engage with clients based on the clients’ needs. Experts’ profile data is collected on our website and may be used to tailor the website users’ experience on our website. We will customise and display the content according to your preferences.
Your IP address is used to help identify you and manage your user experience as you navigate through our website. Our website uses cookies to keep track of your visits to our website and to deliver content specific to your interests.
In order to provide its services IBE keeps a register of experts which is published online at insightsbyexperts.com. The register contains details of active experts and their professional expertise and experience. Only information about active experts is published online and records of former experts are not.
The register can be consulted to verify an expert’s professional experience and expertise and can be viewed by the public at any time. In the event that IBE is contacted directly about an expert by a client to verify the status of an expert, IBE will seek the consent of the expert concerned before releasing any information. We may be required in some cases by law to disclose details without your consent e.g. on a request from the police.

Making a purchase on Insights by Experts
When a visitor confirms a consultation meeting our checkout system uses an order form which collects the visitor's contact information. From time to time we may send you information about our company or changes to our website.

In order to assist us with measuring how well we are achieving these goals we may from time to time ask for your feedback in the form of an online survey, subject to your agreement to direct marketing.
